Charlotte Blackwell, spoke to 350 inmates, and signed books. Copies
of Life on the Outside were donated by the "Books
Behind Bars" program, started by the Center for Mental
Health Services & Criminal Justice Research at Rutgers University.

Life on the Outside with Elaine and Jennifer at Hue-Man
bookstore in Harlem on April 5. Andrew and Russell spoke about
